SSPAN Yoga for Stress Management and Well-being
SSPAN is proud to support the ‘Finding Your Ground: Yoga for Stress Management and Well-being’ 8-week program designed to help you improve your mental health and well-being. Based on the principles of trauma-sensitive yoga, the 1-hour weekly sessions offer choices of gentle movements and stillness, noticing internal sensations and increasing self-awareness. By doing so, it may help address some mental health issues related to chronic stress and dissociation. Each session will end with a brief psychoeducation on self-care and well-being you can take with you beyond the yoga mat.
The program is limited to 10 people and applicants must be 18 years old or older, identify as female and living in the Shoalhaven.
When: Every Wednesday from 15 May to 3 July 2024
Time: 9:30am to 10:30am
Where: Nowra CBD
Registration: Submit your Expression of Interest by 3 May 2024 at https://forms.gle/isXfj61QJ33e99jx7
